We’d like to personally thank you for signing up and helping the vulnerable during this unprecedented situation.
We’ve had around 221 of you volunteer your time with us and with your help, we are able to help many members of the community. So far, we’ve made over 120 connections between yourselves and recipients, those who are extremely grateful for your help. What an achievement!
As we’ve had such a fantastic response and number of volunteers sign up, we are still working our way through the list for individual connections. If you haven’t been contacted yet, please bear with us, we are making our way through the list – fortunately, we have many of you who’d like to volunteer!
We value every single one of our volunteers, those who have made a connection or not, your commitment to being available if we need you, and helping the vulnerable, is deeply appreciated.
In the meantime, any new volunteers will be put on to a reserve list as we have reached capacity for the number of immediate recipients who need help in the community. However, this may change in weeks to come, and we might need further help. We will be monitoring the situation closely.
If for any reason, you are unable to volunteer with us any longer,
please do let us know and we can update our records. Our volunteer’s
safety is our upmost priority, and if you are unable to help any
further, we thank you for your assistance so far.
This page will make it easy for you to find any health and safety guidelines for volunteering, and any expense forms you’ll need. We hope this is useful for you and please do spread the word!
Again, from all of us at Mumbles Community Council, thank you. Your time, effort and commitment are invaluable!
