From colourful flowerbeds to productive vegetable plots, peaceful nature spots to buzzing business planters — if you’re growing something in Mumbles, we want to see it!

Share Your Garden’s Story
Whether you’re planting seeds or enjoying a garden in full bloom, remember to take photos throughout the growing season. Our judges will accept photo entries — so show us the journey, not just the end result!

Best “Grow Your Own” Garden
All about homegrown goodness! Share your fruit, veg, herbs, compost bins, and inventive growing setups.
Best Ornamental Garden
We’re looking for colour, creativity, and beautiful design. Share your artistic flair and inspiring displays.
Best Business Garden
From hanging baskets to planters and green shopfronts — show how your business is helping Mumbles bloom.
Best Community/School Garden Project (Schools & Community Spaces)
This combined category celebrates gardens that bring people together — whether it’s a school plot teaching children about nature, or a community garden promoting wellbeing, connection, and environmental action.
Eco-Friendly Gardening Tips
All entries will be recognised for efforts to support wildlife. Here are a few ideas:
- Use peat-free compost
- Avoid pesticides with natural alternatives like companion planting
- Install a pond or bird bath
- Collect and reuse rainwater
- Choose pollinator-friendly plants
- Repurpose materials for garden features
- Leave log piles and wild areas for insects
