Mumbles Community Council hosted their annual festival, MumblesFest at Oystermouth Castle on Saturday. The sun shone brightly all day and more than 3,000 people enjoyed the many live music acts that performed on stage – all set against the dramatic backdrop of Oystermouth Castle.

Artists ranged from local school choirs to jazz, indie and rock bands. The fantastic line up entertained the crowd from lunchtime well into the evening.

The event also featured a great selection of street food, ice cream and a beer tent where 3 of our local bars were kept busy all day. While parents enjoyed the live music, there was glitter and face painting, free bouncy castles and even a circus workshop to keep the children entertained. MumblesFest was a fun-filled day out for all the family.

‘This year’s MumblesFest couldn’t have gone any better. MCC put on a fantastic community event showcasing some of the best of our local talent, bars, and food suppliers. A huge number of people attended again this year and we are thrilled to be able to throw such a great party for our community.’ Chair of Cultural, Tourism and Communications Committee.

Event organisers, Mumbles Community Council wish to pass on their thanks to all who attended, performed or provided refreshments. The community really came together to make sure the day was a great success.

The date for MumblesFest 2023 will be announced soon!
