An exciting opportunity to develop and manage vibrant new community and sports facilities in Underhill Park in Mumbles.

Our Underhill Development Manager will have a key role to play in completing the setup, and then ensuring the successful operation and on-going development of the Go Underhill phase 1 facilities. 

As well as developing and managing the day to day operation of the new Hub – with its community space, café, meeting room, and changing rooms – and the sports pitches, we envisage that they will become a central part of our community, building relationships with local organisations, schools, clubs and businesses, as well as with our volunteers and existing park users.

Coming onboard prior to the facilities opening, they will work with charity Trustees and our new Underhill Café Manager on the practical planning and subsequent setup of the operation. Once open, the role will evolve into facilities management and engaging with the community to bring in new users to enjoy Underhill Park and Hub.

Likely to have a background in managing public facilities and experienced in working with communities and a variety of stakeholders, we are looking for someone with excellent people skills, willing to roll up their sleeves and with a passion for seeing Go Underhill succeed.
