Bringing together many gardening enthusiasts for an informative and enjoyable evening.
Last week, Mumbles Community Council held their first Mumbles Gardeners’ Question Time event, bringing together many gardening enthusiasts for an informative and enjoyable evening.
Held at Newton Village Hall, the event featured a panel of local horticultural experts including Sue Kent Gardening, Teifion Davies Head Gardener at Clyne Gardens, Peter Robinson retired Head Gardener of Penrice, Louise Watkins RHS gold medal winner, Kate Davies from Coeden Fach Community Tree Nursery and bee expert, Jonathan Coombs.
The event was recorded and will be available on Radio Oystermouth in the coming weeks, so you can still benefit from the expert advice and discussions if you missed it.
In addition to answering audience questions, the event also marked the launch of ‘Mumbles Buzz and Bloom’, an exciting new gardening contest which will run from 1 May - 31 July this year. This is a great opportunity to inspire and celebrate local gardening talent. For further information please visit this link - How to enter!
