The Skatepark contractors, Maverick Industries Ltd will formally hand over Mumbles Skatepark to Mumbles Community Council today.

The Skatepark will be available to use from then on with access to it from the Promenade. Landscaping is not yet completed so some surrounding areas remain fenced off and we ask that users please keep off all the bare earth and seeded areas while they establish. This will not prevent any part of the Skatepark from being enjoyed.

We would like to thank Maverick for creating a world class skatepark which is accessible to all, whatever age, physical ability, or level of skill.

Mumbles Community Council would again like to thank all those involved in making this fantastic project happen and we look forward to seeing Mumbles Skatepark come to life.

A formal opening event will take place in the summer once the planting is established.
