After the success of last year, we are delighted to announce the 2024 World Triathlon Para Series Swansea will be returning on Saturday 22 June 2024.

This international event throws the spotlight on Swansea and Wales, with participants coming from across the world to compete.

What is the World Triathlon Para Series?

The series is the highest level of annual, international paratriathlon competition, with the event itself taking place within the qualification window for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Swansea provides the home race for elite British paratriathletes as they compete to qualify for the Games.

There will be lots to enjoy at this free event including live entertainment, an event village and swim, bike, run events for individuals with a disability or impairment and children.

How will this impact me as a business?

For the event to take place safely, some road closures and restricted access will be in place around the Maritime Quarter and Oystermouth Road during the weekend. Please be assured the council and British Triathlon are working very hard to minimise disruption. An email outlining exact timings and additional information about parking and access will be sent to you in May 2024.
